1. INFORMATION FOR THE USER
Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
DIPRO TECHNOLOGIES SL is the Data Controller for the personal data of individuals who create a profile on any of its social media platforms. The data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD), and the Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI). The following processing information is provided:
Why do we process your personal data?
Purpose of processing:
To maintain a relationship between the USER and DIPRO TECHNOLOGIES SL (hereinafter referred to as the CONTROLLER), which may include the following activities:
- Managing requests and inquiries sent to the controller
- Sharing information about events and activities organized by the controller
- Informing about products or services offered by the controller
- Interacting through official social media profiles
When personal data is collected and processed via social networks, the USER will be informed about the purpose of the data collection and their rights regarding personal data. Data will only be used for the specified purposes and will be securely stored.
Legal Basis for Processing:
The legal basis is the explicit consent given by the USER for one or more specific purposes (Article 6.1.a GDPR).
In addition, USERS can always access the privacy policies of the respective social media platform and configure their profiles to ensure privacy.
How long will we keep your personal data?
Data retention criteria: The data will be retained until the USER revokes their consent, as outlined in this privacy policy.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Data disclosure: Information shared by the USER through the CONTROLLER’s social media platforms, including personal data, may be made public depending on the services used. Therefore, it may be visible to other users of those social networks. From each social media profile, the USER can manage which information is made public, view and revoke granted permissions, or disable any third-party applications they no longer wish to use.
No personal data will be transferred outside the social network, unless necessary for fulfilling the purposes of processing, in which case data may be shared with service providers under confidentiality and data processing agreements, in compliance with current privacy laws.
2. USE OF THE PROFILE
The CONTROLLER may carry out the following actions:
- Access public profile information
- Publish content on the USER’s profile that has already been shared on the CONTROLLER’s own social media
- Send personal, direct messages through social media channels
- Post page updates visible to the USER
The USER may always manage their connections, remove content they no longer wish to share, and control who has access to their profile by adjusting their privacy settings on the respective social media platform.
3. PUBLICATIONS
The main purpose of the CONTROLLER’s social media presence is to provide visibility and dissemination of its activities. These platforms store personal data on their respective servers and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Once the USER becomes a follower or joins the CONTROLLER’s social media account, they may post comments, links, images, photos, or any other multimedia content supported by the platform. The USER must be the legitimate owner of the content posted, hold the relevant copyrights and intellectual property rights, or have obtained consent from third parties when required.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
- Posts (text, graphics, images, videos, etc.) that may be offensive, unethical, inappropriate, or in bad taste
- Content that violates intellectual or industrial property rights, image rights, or the law
- Offensive, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate comments or materials
The CONTROLLER reserves the right to delete such content without prior notice and block the responsible USER.
The CONTROLLER shall not be held responsible for content freely published by USERS. USERS should be aware that their posts may be seen by other users and are therefore responsible for managing their own privacy.
Images shared on social networks will not be stored by the CONTROLLER in any personal data file, but will remain on the social network.
4. DATA OF MINORS OR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
We recommend reviewing the terms of use and privacy policy of each social media platform at the time of registration, taking into account the age requirements set by each platform.
The CONTROLLER is expressly released from any responsibility arising from the use of social networks by minors or individuals with special needs. Their access and use should always be supervised and controlled by their legal guardians.
The CONTROLLER reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via our social media profiles and/or our website.
